Hi everyone –

I am writing with the intent of recruiting authors and researchers for the Critical Infrastructure topic paper. In collaboration with Kelly Young I am hoping to get a head start on the paper so that this topic proposal becomes a reality this year. This topic would focus on the 18-19 domestic institutions classified as “Critical Infrastructures and Key Resources” (CIKRs) which includes areas such as telecommunications, energy, water supply, transportation, and banking. These areas have been deemed essential to the continued functionality of the United States and, despite their importance, are currently in a state of disrepair. This topic is extremely timely considering that the U.S. recently received a “D” on the grading of its infrastructure. We currently have some excellent groundwork for the topic, but there is still much work to be done.

Please let me know if you are interested in working with us on this project.

Thanks,

Taylor Hahn
