FSU requested I post the following:

The Florida State University School of Communication is currently accepting applications to its graduate programs for Summer 2011 and Fall 2011. In particular, we are seeking a graduate student to serve as assistant coach for the university policy debate team. We offer Spring, Summer and Fall admissions to all our graduate programs; the deadline to apply for the summer term is midnight March 1.

FSUComm offers Master's degrees in Media & Communication Studies and in Integrated Marketing Communication, as well as the PhD in Communication. Working with faculty advisors, students craft a program of study tailored to their needs and career goals. Students in both Masters' programs may write a thesis, complete a graduate residency program or final project, or select a courses-only option.

Every student admitted to an FSUComm graduate program is considered for financial assistance in the form of tuition waivers or graduate assistantships, which include waivers and a cash stipend. Selection is competitive. Students with life, work, or academic experiences that would enhance their abilities as a TA should note this in the personal statement section of the application.

We have an excellent record of placing our graduates in professional positions in the public and private sectors, and recent graduates of our doctoral program have obtained teaching and post-doctoral positions at Baylor, Penn, UCLA and UCF, among others.

Application information, including minimum GPA and minimum scores for GRE, can be found on our website at http://www.comm.cci.fsu.edu/. For more information, contact Graduate Recruiter Betsy Crawford at betsy.crawford@cci.fsu.edu or Audrey Post, director of communications and graduate recruiting, at Audrey.Post@cci.fsu.edu.
