Position: 2012 Summer Internship

PRG Background: The Washington, DC-based bipartisan Policy Resolution Group at Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP (“PRG”) creates and implements strategic communications and government relations campaigns to help clients navigate the complex federal landscape.  PRG provides integrated advice that coordinates the political, legal and public affairs components necessary for success in the nation's capital.
 
Position Description: The intern will assist PRG’s strategic communications and advocacy teams in using online tools to gather and share up-to-date information on a wide array of policy issues from energy and environment to manufacturing and consumer products to financial services.
 
Principal Responsibilities: The intern’s responsibilities will include conducting online research and monitoring specific issue areas, updating PRG and client online content, and writing materials such as tweets, blog entries and other website copy.
 
Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be undergraduate students.  Students pursuing degrees in communication fields are preferred.  Candidates should be self-motivated, responsible and have strong communication skills.  New media experience, personally or professionally, is required.

Compensation will be $10 hourly.  Students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program will be considered.  Communications majors with competitive grade point average preferred.  Resume, current transcript and statement of interest should be sent to the Human Resources Manager at: aryn.blanton@bgllp.com.  Please reference the position in the subject of your email.
