Isn't it always Jan 3-5 and 7-9?

I dunno. UTD is always Saturday/Sunday/Monday, usually ending the Monday most university's classes start. That would be pretty late this year (12th-14th).

If it was the weekend earlier, UNT would have to start New Year's day or be after UTD.

Herndon said UTD is Jan 5-7 with registration on the 4th. Also importantly, he said UNT is 2nd this year.

Hey everyone -

The UTD tournament will go first this year, with registration on the 4th and debates 5-7. Barring some unforeseen complication we'll again use the Crowne Plaza (recently renamed the the Wyndham Suites). We'll use tabroom.com and I'll have the invite up in the near future.

Does that then mean that UNT will go on the 9th through 11th?
Thanks!--Neil
