Hello,

I am currently a student at Year Up, Atlanta. We are a program with a mission to bridge the Opportunity Divide by providing professional training to young people between the ages of 18-24. Our organization is dedicated to effective professional training and education by preparing students in developing technical and soft skills, while providing the opportunity to gain credit hours at local accredited community colleges. All participants in year up must hold a High School Diploma or GED in order to be considered for acceptance.

I recently expressed an interest in a possible Speech and Debate Team, however, an adviser told me that there currently was no speech and debate team available and then challenged me to start one. I have very limited knowledge of Speech and Debate and would like to know if there are any resources available that will help me in creating a team. I look forward to your replies.

Thank You
