Greetings:

A few reminders for the 2014 NDT.

1.   Entries should be completed by Thursday, March 20. All judges should be entered at that time. All judging philosophies should be completed at that time.
2.   Each team must provide 13 rounds of judging. If two teams from a school have qualified, 26 rounds of judging must be provided. If three teams from a school have qualified, 39 rounds of judging must be provided.
3.   Judges with less than 12 rounds on the topic will NOT count toward your commitment.
4.   Those attending with a school are required to provide four rounds of judging for the tournament. The Tournament Director and the Chair of the NDT Committee are committed to enforcement of the rule. The relevant rule reads as follows: “NDT Workers: Individuals in attendance at the National Debate Tournament who provide significant coaching to, or argument production for, any team participating in the NDT should be required to enter the judging pool on a supplemental strike sheet for at least four debates or, if it is more appropriate, provide a significant equivalent contribution to the tournament as defined by the tournament host or director.” The following subsection of the Standing Rules explains the enforcement mechanisms.
