The following are the research questions the committee will be exploring tonight, if you would like to help out, please contact the committee member or me at rwlcgalloway@gmail.com.

Research questions: 

Does military commitment include nations like Afghanistan, Baltics, Iraq? (Symonds)
Military presence means troops only what military presence is NOT (WMJ)
Military presence vs. forward presence vs. force posture (WMJ)
Military commitment = security guarantee (more recent evidence) for Taiwan, Israel, Japan, South Korea (Symonds)
Increase vs. enhance vs. strengthen with regard to specific countries (Ryan)
Reduce vs. diminish other terms for particular topic areas for specific countries (Hester)
China links to Djoubiti?  Solvency advocates for Djoubiti--Africa stuff (Murillo)
Updates on Bahrain--advocates for remove 5th fleet (Maggie)
Research question on Taiwan arms sales (Jason)
Research Japan withdraw from new base (Jason)
Research South Korea updated  (Jason)
Research Saudi Arabia (Gordon)
Northeast Asia region definitions (Mike Davis)
Definitions of reversal (Hester)
How to access Ukraine debate?  Just Baltics, must you include Ukraine, must you include NATO (Lyle, Armands)
Troop deployment, military assistance, arms sales as a term for floor resolutions, bi-directional floor (Colin)

The term "military commitment" includes nations like Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia (the Baltics): supplemental wording paper attached.
