Emporia State University's Department of Communication and Theatre invites applications for a non-tenure track Instructor/Debate Coach position to begin August, 2016. The successful candidate will serve as director of the ESU debate program, teach two courses each semester, and be involved in service activities. The ESU debate program competes on the national circuit as a member of both NDT and CEDA. A minimum of a master's degree in communication, or a masterís degree in a different area plus 18 hours of graduate courses in communication is required. Excellent teaching skills and demonstration of successful coaching experience are required.

Screening of applications will begin February 1, 2016 and continue until the position is filled. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
