Boston College is looking forward to hosting the 2016 ADA National tournament.  I have attached a copy of the tournament booklet and a slightly
revised schedule from that appearing in the invitation.

There are two changes that I would like to highlight:

First, on Thursday, March 10th, tournament registration will be in the Charles River Room West of the Newton Marriott from 8 pm to 11 pm.  We extended the registration period an extra hour because we are going to host a reception during registration. All coaches and judges are invited to the reception which will include a top shelf host bar (means you don't pay) along with appetizers, including a cheese display, Mediterranean sampler, mini-vegetarian quiche, mini beef Wellington, scallops wrapped in bacon, and sesame crip/Tofu-cherry glaze.

If you are arriving after 11 pm, you should send an email to katsulas@bc.edu and adri.debate@gmail.com informing us that your entry is correct without any changes.  Late registration will be on Friday at 11 am in the debate office in St. Mary's Hall, S360.  You have to walk by St. Mary's on your way to the tournament buildings. It will be the first building you see when exiting the parking garage on the 7th floor.

Second, Boston College will be providing lunch on Friday.  Boxed lunches will be available in Fulton Hall, 1st floor near the atrium at 11: 30 am.  There is no change in the time for the pairings, which will be released at high Noon.

Today, it is 60 degrees in Boston.  So, I'm optimistic that the weather will cooperate this year.  When BC hosted in 2003, we received about 10 inches of snow and delayed the start of round 1 on Friday. So, maybe global warming (if real) is good after all.
