Assistant Debate Coach - University of Iowa

University College is home to a broad range of academic units and courses designed to provide a smooth transition to college life for entering students including opportunities for students to learn in non-traditional classroom settings and preparation for students to work and/or intern. Many non-academic departments from across campus offer courses through an academic counterpart in University College. The University of Iowa Debate Alumni Group connects former UI debaters with the current team and keeps alumni informed on the progress of the Hawkeye debate season including the A. Craig Baird Debate Forum.

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Debate Coach to assist the Coordinator of Forensics and the Director of Debate with departmental activities, including the administration of the intercollegiate debate team, planning of high school outreach programs, maintaining communication with alumni and coordination of public events.
