Wording Paper Mechanisms
« on: June 08, 2011, 03:18:48 AM »
We want to make the individual reports available. These are the current reports dealing with the stem of the topic.

During the meetings we will be using the topic wiki to help search, review and edit materials. The wiki is available at http://www.cedadebate.org/topic/index.php/Main_Page

The biggest report that outlines all of the definitions of democracy assistance was too big to post on the forums. I have posted it as a public google document at https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0ByYzS_Yr7fxcOWJkNmFjYTYtNjhjMi00NDRmLWFlYTgtMzQwNDI2NTNlZmZk&hl=en_US

Please review it and the below items.

slightly more updated version of the misc. mechanism paper (with a working index) here: http://www.cedadebate.org/forum/index.php?topic=2435.msg4920#msg4920
The 5-30-11 version is the most recent one.  Kevin

Here is another fantastic compilation from the mechanism group. This focuses more on the suggested options that fill the continuum between democracy promotion (as the larger term) and democracy assistance (as the narrower category).

 Great work!
