As those of you who looked closely at the results have probably already discovered, there are some inconsistencies with the results from our tournament.
The prelim and elim results that uploaded to Debate Results seem more or less accurate, but the speaker list doesn't make sense.
The speaker awards we gave out were based on the order generated by the CAT, and there seem to be problems with the application of the second tie-breaker.
I have so far only looked at Open division, but the correct order of speakers seems to be:

1 - Jegadeesh, Rajesh (Emory)      114.8
2 - Davis, Maggie (Georgia)      114
3 - Sisak, Lauren (Wake Forest)      113.6      170.3
4 - Reed, Joel (Missouri State)      113.6      170.2
5 - Gocha, Alan (Wayne State)      113.5      170.7
6 - Justice, Jake (Wayne State)      113.5      170.6
7 - Block, John (Missouri State)      113.5      170.2
8 - Beyer, Tommy (Georgia)      113.5      170
9 - Moore, Jessica (Emory)      113.4      170.4
10 - Rab, Fayzan (Emory)         113.4      170.2
11 - Collins , Erin (Emory)         113.4      170   56.8
12 - Cavalier, Charlie (Kentucky)      113.4      17   56.6

There are also some inconsistencies between how individual adjusted points and team adjusted points were calculated, which may have affected seeding.
This is tentative, and I'm going to look into it further, as well as consult with Jon about it.

If you notice additional specific problems, please let me know. The more info I can get to Jon, the more likely that we can get accurate results, and avoid problems like this in the future.

I will try to keep everyone posted.

I finally got a chance to double-check Novice and JV. There were no problems with seeding in either division.
The Novice speaker awards were all correct, but there was one speaker out of place in JV.

The corrected JV speaker results are:
1 - Wirth, Andrew (Wayne State University)      112.9   169
2 - Franco, Luis (Florida)            112.5   168.1
3 - Brundage, John (Wayne State University)   111.9   167.3
4 - Schladt, Nicole (Kentucky)         111.3   167.6
5 - Stewart, Clay (Georgia State)         111.2   166.6
6 - St. John, Hillary (Illinois State University)   111   167
7 - Dorsey, Muriel (Illinois State University)      111   166.6
8 - Finch, John (Georgia State)         111   166
9 - Grey, Michael (Florida)            111   165.5
10 - Black, Dennis (Wayne State University)      110.5   165.9
