JMU is seeking to hire 1-2 people for next debate season. We are looking for people who are going to be in the VA/DC/MD area and are willing to travel to 3-4 tournaments per semester. You certainly do not have to live in Harrisonburg, but we would prefer if you lived close so that travel costs are manageable.
Position expectations:
1. Travel to 3-4 tournaments per semester.
2. Judging and coaching at tournaments.
3. Review assignments and provide feedback to students
Optional activities:
1. Attend JMU debate pre-season work week (or part of the week)
2. Complete research assignments
