One Year Teaching Debate Position - Central Michigan Univ

POSITION: Temporary Instructor in Communication [/font][/color]

AVAILABLE: August 2013

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is a 9-month position replacing a faculty member on leave.  The position consists of teaching 4 courses of debate in the fall in two different formats (regular undergraduate students and undergraduate students in a leadership program). Spring semester may consist of two sections of debate and two sections of other undergraduate courses (e.g., public speaking, interpersonal, small groups, interviewing, gender) depending on the instructor’s qualifications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Completed MA or higher in Communication, evidence of expertise in teaching debate, and overall teaching excellence.

RANK AND SALARY: Lecturer; competitive salary.
