« on: April 24, 2014, 10:11:41 AM »
My dear friend and current UNT coach, Martin Osborn, has decided to take employment outside the debate community.  The entire UNT family wishes him the best as he begins his post-debate career.  I know Martin will succeed any endeavor he chooses, and I wish him the best.

With Martin leaving, UNT will soon be accepting applications for our Assistant Coach position; it is a full time position with a competitive salary and benefits.

The job title is, Student Services Coordinator I, and will be searchable at jobs.unt.edu

If you are interested and/or have additional questions please contact me (louiepetit@gmail.com).  Martin has also let me know that he will answer question you might have about the job, so feel free to contact him.  While an exact time table in unknown, we will be looking to make a hire in the immediate future.

This position is designed to assist with research, participate in travel to tournaments, judge both practice debates and academic competitions, supervise debaters' preparation for tournaments, and engage in administrative activities. A competitive and national caliber debate squad helps the university accomplish its mission in a variety of ways.
