Graduate Student Opportunity and Urban Debate League
« on: January 21, 2020, 07:53:30 AM »
Final Reminder: Deadline is Feb 1

The University of Cincinnati Department of Communication is seeking a student with debate experience to work with the newly launched Cincinnati Urban Debate League (CUDL). The student will be enrolled in our award-winning Masters Program, and will receive a stipend for coaching at two local high schools (rather than the usual load of teaching two public speaking classes a semester). The Masters Program offers degrees in a variety of communication disciplines from our top notch faculty, which will prepare students for a PhD in communication or professional work in a variety of fields. The CUDL assistantship will give interested students experience working as a debate educator and advocate.

Simply apply for the Communication Masters Program as normal and indicate your interest in working with the CUDL in your statement of purpose. Students with extensive debate experience, including teaching at high school debate camps, will be preferred.
