CEDA Nationals Update

Hello everyone:  There are a few issues for everyone to consider in the days before the national tournament.

CEDA Deadlines Approaching

Hi Everyone:

Three important deadlines are quickly approaching.

(1) CEDA Awards. Deadline is February 20. You can find the online submission info on the CEDA website.

(2) Amendments. Deadline is February 21. Log in to cedadebate.org, create content for "amendment," and be sure to select PROPOSED AMENDMENT as the category. If you entered the info correctly, you'll see your amendment listed on the right column under Proposed Amendments.

Send info via cedadebate

Hi everyone:

eDebate has not been sending info for a while and I know that has created some problems getting timely information out to other people. The CEDA website provides two great choices if you want to use them:

(1) Groups. http://groups.cedadebate.org. Any registered user can set up a group, post any information, and have other people reply. And, RSS works with all of the groups, so you can know when people have posted info in groups you subscribe to.

Test CEDA Newsletter

There are several items to report at this time:

1. Amendments. Please submit all amendments by October 30 in order to be considered at the business meeting schedule for November at NCA.

2. CEDA points. Please continuously review your points on the debateresults page. Please inform Jeff and Jon about any discrepancies.

3. More to come in the future.
