CEDA Topic/Amendment Ballot

The ballot is now available. 2011-2012 CEDA member schools may vote. You must have an account at the main CEDA site AND have that account coded to vote. I can authorize multiple accounts to vote to insure that your school does vote. But, please do not wait until the 18th to figure out if you can vote. The ballot is available at: http://www.cedadebate.org/july2012ballot

Ballots are due by midnight (central), Wednesday, July 18. The winning topic will be announced on Friday, July 20.

Controversy announcement

73 schools voted. A total of 72 ballots were counted (1 ballot did not list a first place vote). The winning controversy area is Energy Policy. A detailed breakdown is below.

Please remember that the vote for the student rep is due in one week. The deadline is Monday, May 21 at midnight (central).

The topic rotation amendment passes 45-28.

The ballot for the student rep to the topic committee is now available.

Ballots are due by Monday, May 21 at midnight (central).

The result will be announced on Tuesday, May 22.

Ballot

2011 - 2012 Resolution

Resolved: The United States Federal Government should substantially increase its democracy assistance for one or more of the following: Bahrain, Egypt, Libya, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen.
